La Confrérie was founded on the 28th of January 1957 as an Association where students of Hotelschool The Hague came together to socialize after school and create a life lasting bond with each other.

A bond from which you have a lot of benefits in the beginning of your career and for the rest of your life.  At this moment La Confrérie counts around 500 members and over 5000 former members and is the oldest and largest Student Association of Hotelschool The Hague.

La Confrérie is an active Student Association. This shows in multiple active committees and yearly returning events. All events are completely organized by members of the Student Association. Joining a committee is a good way to put the knowledge that you learn at school in practice, besides that they are lots of fun.

Examples of these events are 'Picasso', the yearly returning Theatre performance, the 'BeaVo', the Beach Volleyball Tournament that takes place every year. The annual Gala is an event which is visited by a lot by members, former members and members of other Student Associations as well.

Next to these big events we organize several smaller events. Examples of this are the Skifrérie (a ski trip), Sailfrerie (a sailing trip), trips to famous wine houses in Europe, tournaments in the Clubbar and a lot of other things!
